A big BOY breakfast.

Jackson has learned to feed himself with a spoon or fork (still messy). So for breakfast I made him oatmeal with bananas (on the right) and he did not go for that so then he got a 1/2 cup of Life cereal and soy milk (bowl on left). He was not crazy about either choice then as we sat there longer he would take a spoon of the oatmeal and dip it into the milk bowl and then eat it. So now we make the oatmeal with milk. It is a slow process he likes to do every bite himself and they are not big bites at all. But it was cute to see him eat like a big boy!

Trouble with Clothes

Jack has gotten where he tries to put clothes on by himself. So this moring he was struggling to get dad's shirt on and we helped him out. Then he got upset cause he could not find his hands nor walk in daddy's shirt. But it sure looked cute!

He is so helpful!

Mommy was doing some laundry on saturday morning and Jack decided he could help out. So he (and his milk) jumped in the dryer. He is so helpful, the other day he was mopping the floor, he can dust furniture (kinda) and he takes dirty diapers to the trash. I am training this little man right from a young age to help women around the house. Plus he is so cute while helping.

Please people! Don't make me get in that car again. I am so tired of that car seat.

Sissy's 14th Bday Party

Here is a pic of all the kids that were at Tori's 14th party. Whew it was exhausting. We had hamburgers and hot dogs and all the fixings. She had a good time so I guess that all that matters.

Babies, Babies everywhere...

On our way home back to Nashville we stopped and visited family along the way. We saw the Arledge baby girl (1 month old) first in Birmingham and then we headed to Huntsville to see the Gibbs baby boy (13 days old). I got my baby fix for the day with rocking them both to sleep. They were so sweet. So it got me thinking...

Family Vacation.

This year for vacation we went to Mexico Beach, Florida. We joined Alan's Uncle Eugene and Aunt Naomi's family. It was great fun. Jack really liked the beach and sand. We are planning on going back next year. On our way home we stopped by Fort Walton Beach to take pictures where we got married and visited the bed and breakfast we stayed at our wedding night.

Jack is playing with his new cousins in our backyard pool. He loved them and they live on a goat farm so we will have to visit them soon.
